Installation of the Kidde 29-FR smoke alarm :

It is recommended by the manufacturer Kidde to place your smoke detector 29-FR within a room of main life, in the middle of the ceiling preferably.
If it is not possible to do so, you can install the daaf to the wall measuring 30 cm at maximum from your ceiling.

If your habitat is spread over several levels or only one of your rooms is of a length greater than 9m, Kidde recommends that the arrangement of at least two smoke detectors.
For the room, it will be a daaf at each end and to the upper floors, a smoke detector is recommended in the stairs leading to it.

Test the Kidde 29-FR smoke alarm :

The Kidde 29-FR has a Test button to check its internal state. A simple support is enough to know if it all works out.
The alarm that goes off tells you that the sensor locates properly the defects present in the ambient air.

To replace the battery in his smoke alarm:

The smoke detector Kidde 29-FR is powered by an alkaline battery whose life span is estimated at 12 months. This therefore requires regular replacement in order to always be secure.
We recommend that you put only the batteries that you are named in the notice to prevent damage to the device.

Note : a beep sound is heard 30 days prior to the end of life of the battery, which leaves you the time of the change.

Clean the sensor alarm standalone smoke Kidde 29-FR :

This interview must take place at least once per month and only takes a few minutes.

To do this, unclip the smoke detector kidde 29-FR from its base by turning it in the opposite direction of the needles of a watch.
With the soft brush of your vacuum cleaner, remove any dust from the inside of the smoke detector through the various openings.
