Important notes:

This detector is designed for carbon monoxide only — it does not detect smoke.
Although batteries are replaceable, they must be changed immediately when the “low battery” warning appears.
Recommended installation: on a wall at breathing height (approx. 1.5 m) or higher depending on potential CO source — avoid very low ceilings or isolated corners.
Despite automatic self-testing, monthly manual testing via the “Test” button is recommended.

Installation tips:

If installed near a combustion appliance (boiler, stove), place it at least 1.5 m horizontally from the source.
Use new batteries upon installation and note the installation date to track the 10-year sensor lifespan.
Test immediately after installation and on a regular basis.
